Datote

A browser-based statistics workbench: drop in a CSV, get charts, tests and cleanup.

YOUR CSVDAYDATESTORETEXTSALESNUMUNITSNUMDATE × NUMLINESALES OVER DAYTEXT × NUMBARSSALES BY STORENUM × NUMSCATTERSALES VS UNITS

Edit the CSV. It's parsed and typed by the app's own code, in your browser, and three of its chart rules are drawn. Try n/a in two of the sales.

Each column gets a type from its values: more than 80% numbers makes it a number column, more than 80% dates a date column. The types decide which charts are suggested: a date and a number give a line, text and a number give bars, two numbers give a scatter.

Datote detects column types, scores data quality, recommends charts, and runs t-tests, ANOVA, regression and chi-square with plain-language interpretation, all computed in the browser.
