Yapin

A macOS menu-bar app: press a hotkey, talk, and styled text is pasted wherever you are.

Command-Shift-2 starts dictation in the Professional style, and the floating pill shows a live waveform while Apple's speech recognizer transcribes. Pressing it again sends the transcript through OpenRouter to be rewritten, puts the result on the clipboard and sends Command-V to whichever app has focus. Verbatim, on Command-Shift-1, skips the network.

Each global hotkey starts dictation in a writing style: verbatim, professional, casual, technical, concise, creative, or a prompt optimizer. Press it again and the transcript is pasted at the cursor, as-is or rewritten by an LLM.

Notes

A floating always-on-top pill shows state and a live waveform; there's no dock icon.

Recording hotkeys in Settings suspends the event tap so it can't swallow the combo being recorded.

Next: ProDeck AIA multi-agent pipeline that turns data files and a brand into an editable slide deck.
